Sigma Systems Names Marketing VP

TORONTO -- Sigma Systems, the authority in provisioning converged broadband solutions, today announced that Rick Mallon has been appointed to the position of vice president of marketing and product management at Sigma, effective immediately. Prior to this appointment, Mallon served as vice president of product management for the company.

"Over the past several years, Sigma has expanded its reach into new market segments and new geographies," said Tim Spencer, president of Sigma Systems. "In his expanded role, Rick will be a key driver of our strategic marketing initiatives, which include expanding our presence in the telecommunications market and enhancing our leadership position in the provisioning of IP services, including converged broadband, network, and value-added services."
