Phil Harvey joined Light Reading (www.lightreading.com) as a Senior Editor in September 2000 and was named its Editor-in-Chief in January 2008.

Harvey is responsible for the daily editorial operations of Light Reading, Light Reading Mobile (www.lightreading.com/lr-mobile), and Light Reading Cable (www.lightreading.com/cable). Harvey frequently writes and speaks on the topics of mobile broadband data, optical networking advances, new service creation, customer experience management, and video content consumption. His podcast is available on iTunes.

Before joining Light Reading, Harvey was based in San Mateo, Calif., where he was a staff writer for UPSIDE and, later, a staff reporter for RedHerring.com. He is now based in Texas where he is a D CEO contributing editor and studies portrait and lifestyle photography as an active member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
