Etisalat Smarthub Hooks Up With AMS-IX

DUBAI -- Etisalat today announced its partnership with Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX) providing Etisalat Smarthub customers access to the exchange while users of AMS-IX can extend their capacity across Middle East and Africa.

Etisalat will now be able to remotely connect regional clients of the new Smarthub IX, Etisalat’s regional Internet hub, to AMS-IX giving them the opportunity to peer with over 550 connected IP networks. This partnership consequently increases the value of both AMS-IX and the Etisalat Smarthub IX through peering benefits, including more networks, traffic and routes.
