ZCorum App Adds CMTS Tester

January 16, 2013 |
ZCorum, a leading provider of managed broadband services and diagnostics software, announced today that it has added two enhancements to its TechVizion app. TechVizion is the company's mobile app that is used in conjunction with its TruVizion broadband diagnostics software. The company updated the app to include a CMTS diagnostic tab, as well as providing a view of the modem screen on tablets similar to what is available in their TruVizion desktop software.

According to Scott Helms, Vice President of Technology at ZCorum, the CMTS diagnostic tab provides information on the status of all cable modems on the plant right from a smartphone or tablet. “With one tap you can now see the number of modems on the CMTS that are online, offline and those that are attempting to connect.”
