Kabel Deutschland Plugs In Comarch's OSS

February 15, 2013 |
KRAKOW -- Comarch, a global software house and system integrator, has just signed an agreement with Kabel Deutschland, Germany’s largest cable operator, for the optimization of network and service management processes.

Cable operators currently have to deal with increasingly complex operations and services, coupled with strong competition from traditional telecom operators. Offering multiple IP services requires scalability that can only be delivered with the right tools for the efficient management of network resources and services, as well as for provisioning processes.

Kabel Deutschland decided to face this challenge and develop its network infrastructure to support the needs of its customers. The operator wanted to optimize its legacy network and service management toolset towards enabling next practice approach to network plan, build and run that would be ready for the change.
