PCT International’s (PCT) new MoCSY7 Low Smoke No Halogen (LSNH) 75 Ohm coaxial cable meets the high performance requirements of the cable and satellite industries. LSNH additionally addresses the concerns of a cable that helps protect people from harmful gases and smoke in a fire. The standard features of MoCSY7 LSNH coaxial cable include multiple construction configurations to meet the demands of today’s ever increasing bandwidth demands including: durable no halogen outer jacket; proprietary and patented PCT cable technologies; and solid copper or copper clad steel wire center conductors.
“This is the next step in PCT’s commitment to being a responsible community partner. With the expansion of networks globally, it only makes sense to think about global environmental concerns of the components used in those networks. Cables utilizing low smoke no halogen materials in their construction provide added protection from extreme heat and fire by reducing the amount of smoke and potentially toxic gases that can be created,” said Leonard Visser, PCT’s VP of Cable Engineering and cable design expert. “It’s an ideal solution for in-building wiring in commercial, industrial and particularly residential applications where protection of the public is a major concern.”
