Scott Woodworth, ex-Solectron, named Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Pacific Broadband Communications (PBC), a developer of standards-based broadband solutions for delivering integrated data, telephony, and video over last mile networks, has named Scott Woodworth Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations.In this new position, Woodworth will assume responsibility for the manufacturing, test, materials, operations and quality organizations. Previously, Woodworth served as Vice President of Operations at empowerTel Networks, a carrier grade telecommunications switch start-up company. With more than 17 years of experience, Woodworth also held several operations management positions at Solectron Corp.’s systems business, where he was responsible for the transition of two manufacturing operations in Calgary as part of a global acquisition of eight manufacturing sites from Nortel.
