FAIRFAX, Va. -- TEOCO, the leading provider of assurance, analytics and optimization solutions to communications service providers (CSPs), has deployed its Helix Service Assurance solution with a Tier 1 carrier in North America. The carrier is using TEOCO’s solution to ensure maximum service availability and quality of its new software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN) service for mid-market and enterprise customers.

The North American operator is using TEOCO’s Helix Service Assurance solution to meet the demands of the digital enterprise, which now move beyond bandwidth and connectivity, to agile, flexible and dynamic networks that they can control. The solution is helping the carrier to properly visualize and assure its SD-WAN services end-to-end, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business continuity, while ensuring the CSP delivers the services according to committed service level objectives and SLAs. It also allows it to overcome the challenges brought about by the inherent complexity of the dynamic nature of the newly introduced SD-WAN services.

By deploying TEOCO’s Helix Service Assurance solution the carrier has access to effective proactive management, faster response and resolution processes, improved automation and integration to full closed loop resolutions, as well as added value for customers via self-monitoring. This ensures it gains increased visibility across, and insight into, the network, the service and its customers.

“Today, enterprises want agile, flexible and dynamic networks they can control in ways that best suit their business requirements. CSPs are well-positioned to deliver the SD-WAN services that can address these requirements but the agility brings certain level of complexity which they must overcome to ensure that they meet their customers’ needs without compromising the service quality.” said Shachar Ebel, CTO of TEOCO. “We are proud to work with this tier-1 North American carrier to deliver a fully integrated, analytics-driven, service focused solution to support its enterprise SD-WAN customers. In today’s digital era, as the enterprise segment grows in importance, our Service Assurance solution is helping carriers deliver the bandwidth, scalability, reliability and flexibility demanded for digital transformation.”

A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
