Leading Lights 2017 Finalists: Outstanding Digital Enablement Vendor

As service providers virtualize their network functions to speed service delivery, improve revenue and decrease costs, they are also moving toward utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics to transform their billing and operations systems. The goal is to improve network visibility and the all-important omni-channel customer experience for themselves and their business customers.

The finalists in the Outstanding Digital Enablement Vendor category were selected because of their product innovation in next-generation OSS/BSS/analytics/digital commerce systems, proud investors and happy employees.

The winner will be announced at the Leading Lights Awards dinner on Monday, May 15, at Brazos Hall in Austin, Texas. The following day, the Big Communications Event opens its doors for two days of networking, learning and fun.

Until then, in alphabetical order, here are the eight companies that made this year's shortlist in the Outstanding Digital Enablement Vendor category.

Amdocs – aia

The platform combines Amdocs Ltd. (NYSE: IBM) Watson platform.

CENX
CENX Inc. 's namesake product changes the way service providers view their networks. This next-gen software lets service providers see the entire network end-to-end, in real time, on one single pane, including: service topology, inventory, fault and performance from disparate systems. It ingests, audits and contextualizes all of a network's big data to provide a comprehensive, abstracted view of what's most important about a company's service and network operations.

Comptel – Fastermind
Comptel Corp. (Nasdaq, Helsinki: CTL1V)'s Fastermind is a software suite that provides artificial intelligence to CSPs. It recommends, predicts and automates real-time decisions for customer engagement action. Fastermind's goal is to increase revenue through automated upsell and cross-sell offers, marketing promotions and notifications by targeting the right customers at the right time so that end users experience a personalized and contextual customer journey.

Intraway – Symphonica
Intraway Corp. 's Symphonica is a service-oriented environment that allows BSS/OSS systems and self-care applications to easily interact with network infrastructure in a decoupled, secure and auditable manner. Symphonica provides a comprehensive suite of service activation packages that help service providers quickly launch new services or roll out new network technology in a more expedited manner. Customers can configure, manage and monitor activation processes with a comprehensive set of web applications that are designed to fulfill the requirements of all the users involved. Customers can also view statistics, transactions performance alarms and queue status in real time to manage subscribers' configurations and fallout process.

ItsOn Inc. – ItsOn
The ItsOn platform is an end-to-end cloud solution enabling operators to provide digital services and improved customer experiences. The platform integrates key business functions (including billing, m-commerce and customer engagement) in order to help mobile operators manage customer experiences. ItsOn Inc. 's technology provides operators the agility to deploy, test and refine new digital services through a simple-to-use configuration portal that integrates all elements of the service experience, including enabling end-user capabilities, such as making custom changes to a plan at any time or managing shared features. In addition, the platform enables contextual on-device engagement in which specific behaviors by specific users trigger custom offers.

Netformx – ChannelXpert
Netformx ChannelXpert is a cloud-based application for executives, finance and procurement to manage gross profits. ChannelXpert began as a tool to automate the process of capturing more vendor reward dollars. It uses the Netformx Ecosystem-as-a-Service to gather and analyze vendor, deal, distributor and promotion information. Business insights are provided in a single-pane-of-glass dashboard with comprehensive drill-downs.

UXP Systems – User Lifecycle Management (ULM)
The ULM platform is UXP Systems Inc. 's user management solution that resides above existing customer management or billing infrastructure, managing a data repository of user identities and their entitlements to various accounts, services and features. The platform includes processes that are used to manage the identity lifecycle for every user, with an interface to create, configure and manage new and existing processes. ULM includes standards-compliant identity and access management functions, and a group management and sharing capability, allowing users to create groups, invite users and delegate and revoke access at a granular level to their accounts and services.

Vlocity – Vlocity Communications
Vlocity Communications is a suite of cloud-based CRM/BSS applications that includes comprehensive enterprise product catalog, CPQ (configure-price-quote), contract management, and customer order management functionality, and a library of pre-built sales, service and billing management processes. Vlocity Inc. 's applications are focused on helping CSPs deliver a consistent omni-channel experience, increasing business agility, and driving operational efficiencies, revenue growth and IT savings.
