Orga Appoints Senior Exec

PADERBORN, Germany -- Orga Systems, a leading software vendor for real-time charging and billing solutions, with an international customer base in the telecommunications, utilities and automotive markets, strengthens its global Management team and appoints Telecoms expert Klas Peterson as Vice President Consulting and Support – Global. For almost two decades, Orga Systems’ ongoing success has been relying on proper product planning and quality-driven project execution. To further improve its delivery methodology and as an ongoing commitment to deliver best-in-class projects towards full customer satisfaction, Klas Peterson will lead the global consulting team serving 40+ customers around the globe.

Complexity of industry dynamics requires customer-centric consultancy services In light of industry dynamics, complex requirements and strong competition, proper consultancy and support have become a main differentiator for players such as Orga Systems. To further improve its reputation as a reliable partner in the real-time charging and billing arena, Klas Peterson will lead the global consultancy team driven by customer orientation and high quality of service and delivery.

Peterson comes with an MBA in Applied Physics from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. He started his career as Product Manager at Seasafe, a product company delivering software and services to the Marine industry. In 1989, he joined Capgemini where he was working within the Telecom Group mainly delivering BSS solutions to customers in various regions of the world. From 2000 onwards, Klas worked as COO for Capgemini Telecom and Media Nordic. In 2005, he joined Ascade, a telecom software company developing solutions for routing and interconnect settlements. As COO and most recently as CEO, he took Ascade’s business to the next level and made the company a strong player for interconnect routing and billing solutions. In 2012, Ascade was sold to CSG International. As Steering Committee member, Klas ensured the smooth integration.
