Cyan, Huawei, Inocybe Technologies, Plexxi and Radware join the OpenDaylight Project

SAN FRANCISCO -- The OpenDaylight Project, a collaborative open source project to advance software-defined networking (SDN), today announced that Cyan, Huawei, Inocybe Technologies, Plexxi and Radware are joining as members to accelerate development and adoption of open source SDN.

As the industry moves toward widespread adoption of SDN, an open, reference framework for programmability and control is needed. OpenDaylight members are committed to the goal of developing a common and open SDN platform for developers to utilize, contribute to and build commercial products and technologies upon. Each new member will be using OpenDaylight to deliver addons and enhancements to their products and services that provide additional value to their customers.
