NSN Extends Liquid Net

February 19, 2013 |
BARCELONA, Spain -- In the run-up to the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2013, Nokia Siemens Networks will launch a series of new products, upgrades and services that demonstrate it is ‘Innovating for a world in motion™’. These aim to help operators deliver a gigabyte of personalized data per day to every user by 2020 – and deliver it profitably. The launches will culminate in an extension to the company’s ‘Liquid Net’ approach, an innovation that will give mobile base stations an entirely new role in the communications ecosystem.

The company is also today releasing Wizard of Cells. This free game, available online or as a downloadable app, turns the complexity of operating mobile networks, and solving customer problems, into a fun game: http://www.nokiasiemensnetworks.com/portfolio/latest-launches-and-updates/wizard-of-cells

“For Mobile World Congress 2013, our new products will show how we’re ‘Innovating for a world in motion’ to fundamentally change how mobile networks create benefits for operators, subscribers and the entire ecosystem,” said Thorsten Robrecht, head of Mobile Broadband portfolio management at Nokia Siemens Networks.
