Navini Loses CFO

Broadband wireless startup Navini Networks Inc. has waved buh-bye to CFO Michael Burstein, Unstrung has learned.

Specific details of Burstein’s departure remain sketchy, but a Navini employee confirmed that no successor has yet been appointed. The company announced Burstein’s appointment in May 2002.

Navini’s director of marketing -- the regally monikored Curtis Coats III -- was unable to respond to calls by press time.

Burstein's move is the latest round of executive shuffling at Navini. Its management ranks have been turning over since the company scored a further $30 million in funding in June this year (see Navini Nabs Celite CEO, Headcount: The World Needs People, and Navini Nabs $30M).
