BARCELONA -- Mobile World Congress 2014 -- We're here!!!

Like so many others from around the mobile world, the Light Reading and Heavy Reading crews stepped blinking into the Barcelona sunshine Sunday morning, one day ahead of the official opening of the show (but clearly the new unofficial first day, there was so much going on).

Click below for a little of what we saw.

Before the Hordes Arrive
And we're back at MWC in Barcelona!
And we're back at MWC in Barcelona!

Re: MWC's new digs
I'd love that, but the people with roller suitcases and eyes glued to their phones make the show floor dangerous enough, not to mention the raised booths and uneven ground!

Two bits
My two most memorable moments so far: 1. The "30-minute" wait for a taxi that turned out to be 85 minutes. 2. Walking past a salon that offers the chance to exfoliate your feet with tiny fish that eat that nasty dead skin, conveniently located two doors down from a sushi house.
