MSFT's IPTV Surge

12:15 PM -- LAS VEGAS -- CES -- There are quite a few new things to jazz up the world of telco-delivered IPTV this morning:

  • BT Adds to Its IPTV Options

  • Cisco Debuts IP Hubs for the Home

  • Microsoft Adds VOD, IPTV Extras

But before the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) hype gets out of hand, keep in mind: Microsoft's carrier partners are hardly the biggest IPTV service providers out there.

An upcoming report from Light Reading takes a look at the top ten IPTV providers in the world, and Microsoft-powered carriers, I'm told, are rather poorly represented in the lot.
