TOKYO -- NTT DOCOMO, INC., a personalized mobile solutions provider for smarter living, announced today that it will launch the "docomo Developer support" website to provide smartphone application developers with application programming interfaces (APIs) for conversation-oriented applications starting on November 11.

The new website will streamline avenues for API disclosure as well as expand the availability of APIs. Plans include the release of the conversation API, in addition to previously available voice-recognition and question-answering APIs for the voice-agent smartphone application Shabette-ConcierTM. The conversation API is expected to facilitate further development of conversation-oriented smartphone applications and services.

The new website is intended to deepen relationships with outside developers and thereby strengthen DOCOMO services for smartphones and other mobile devices.

The website will also provide developers with a wide range of software development kits, as well as technical support.
