OLDSMAR, Fla. -- Through its acquisition of Radiant Networks, announced today, Global Convergence Inc. (GCI) enhances service offerings for our channel partners to better address the increasingly complex demands of the enterprise mobility space. GCI's enhanced service portfolio now includes wireless and mobility assessments, enterprise-wide mobility design and consulting services, global deployment services, security and authentication solutions and managed services for global devices.

The demand for mobility solutions and services within geographically dispersed large enterprises is being driven by a rapid expansion in mobile devices, the emerging internet of things, and requirements for increasing mobile security. As the channel's service and solutions Company, GCI has extensive capabilities to provide both technology expertise and global coverage to partners in the mobility market. The enhancements help partners keep track of fast-changing technology landscapes so they can more effectively construct MDM policies that responsibly balance access to information and mobile security. Gartner estimates that by 2017, 75 percent of mobile security breaches will be the result of mobile application misconfiguration. GCI partners can now utilize the expanded service offerings to address those concerns from their customers.

"GCI is uniquely positioned to provide complete enterprise mobility solutions that encompass multiple vendors and multiple technologies across a distributed enterprise," said Jim Bradshaw, CEO and Chairman of the Board of GCI. "Only 25 percent of today's solution providers are offering advanced enterprise mobility solutions like identity and asset management (IAM) systems, despite escalating regulatory and compliance requirements. This creates a tremendous opportunity for our partners and we're placing a heavy focus around the technologies, tools and services that will give them a competitive advantage." GCI's enterprise mobility solutions are a potent weapon for solution providers striving to grow their business and expand their services offerings beyond traditional desktop, server and network support. A recent Kaseya MSP Pricing Survey reveals that only 28 percent of North American solution providers provide those services to customers, the lowest percentage among 17 managed service categories reported. By comparison, 97 percent provide desktop support and server support, and 96 percent offer network and connectivity support.

"Whether it's an onsite deployment, assessment, optimization or mobility-as-a-managed service, we deliver white-label solutions to partners across the globe without the need for certifications or significant investment. We serve as a partner's virtual engineering team anywhere in the world," said Dan Cooper, Senior VP, Portfolio Development at Radiant Networks. "These offerings are in high demand by our partners and their customers and there's no one else that can offer them all from one provider."

Radiant Networks headquartered in Louisville, KY, supports many of today's leading mobility technology manufacturers with design, implementation and management services. The company's expert technical staff enables solutions for health care, public sector, hospitality, manufacturing and other industries for applications such as voice, location tracking, guest access, public safety, campus-wide connectivity and more.

The mobility services will compliment Global Convergence's already robust portfolio of ServLink-branded professional services that includes network transformation, customized support, management and more.
