ZTE prevails in patents litigation initiated by intellectual property company.

SHENZHEN, China -- ZTE Corporation welcomes the ruling by Dusseldorf District court in favor of the company in the patent litigation initiated by SmartPhone Technologies LLC, an affiliate of Acacia Research Corporation.

The Dusseldorf court ordered SmartPhone to bear the legal expenses of the case in full after rejecting all claims by SmartPhone. ZTE’s operations in Germany are unaffected by the litigation.
