Micram Intros UltraFast AWG

March 21, 2013 |
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Micram Instruments is demonstrating its new AWG3420 Dual Channel Arbitrary Waveform Generator at this week’s Optical Fiber Conference and Exposition. Powered by the world record-setting Micram VEGA DAC II digital to analog converter, the AWG3420 combines ultrafast speed, high bandwidth and the unique versatility of two output channels in the same enclosure.

“We’ve had a very enthusiastic response since we introduced our first UltraFast AWG a year ago,” said Matthias Tom Frei, CEO of Micram Instruments. “One of the first questions asked by customers was: ‘Can we get two output channels in one box?’ With the AWG3420, we’re answering that question with a resounding ‘Yes!’ and at the same time introducing a new, highly sophisticated hardware architecture that will enable us to deliver even higher performance in the near future.”
