Re: Wrong and twice wrong!
Not in the volume that massive IoT is supposed to deliver, nope, and IoT has to be a volumes game in order to deliver revenues to operators.

Won't LTE-M and NB-IoT do the IoT stuff, then?

No cynic! No cynic! You're the cynic!
Don't blame service providers if users exercise their prerogative to mindlessly "upgrade" to the next big thing to feel better about themselves. It's a strategy that has worked wonders for Apple.

Boring but necessary as a radio foundation to get to massive IoT, VR, connected whatever.

Wrong and twice wrong!
New radio is boring for two reasons. The first is that is that it tells exactly the same more-bandwidth-for-your-buck story as 3G and 4G did previously -- only with less purpose.

Wrong! The capabilties of NR and the technology within are both fascinating. And commercially very interesting.

What was your second point again?

A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
