Re: Google: OpenConfig Grows
jq4ym, yes - you are right.  They have found a smart way to create value in the open systems space and are profiting from it.  As I think open configuration will continue to appeal and grow, they will likely benefit by serving the customers' desire for open systems and choice.

Re: Google: OpenConfig Grows
Somehow, in my mind at least, it seem only natural that Google would be entirely comfortable with OpenConfig. Relying as they have on the success at structuring what used to be unstructured search and the vast constributions of others to their business model. Google certainly sees great benefits of heading in this direction.

Carol, what a smart design.  That appears to be an excellent way to drive the market.  I really like the innovative way they have built their network on the core engineering resources.  It seems to me that this will find good results and truly advance the market.

A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
