So the Mayan calendar finally comes to an end.

I hear their next calendar has kittens (be sure to pick one up at the mall).

2 Mayans walk into a bar.

The first Mayan says, "Yep, done with that bit of calendar."

The second Mayan says, "We have plenty of time to do the next section."

The first Mayan says, "Imagine what happens if our civilization falls and some moron assumes we had no plans to add another section.  They might think it would be the end of the world!"

The second Mayan says, "Only a really stupid group would believe that.  That would be funny!"

The two Mayans laugh....

> Major disappointment it isn't happening for real ... we are all stuck doing what we are doing, working in profitless industries.

Tell me about it. I'm in journalism.  :)

I thought I saw a meteor heading straight for me this morning. Turned out to be only a wayward garbage-can lid carried by a big wind gust.
