it sounds like the DAS guy has seniority over the small cell guy, so we will have to wait until the DAS guy dies or retires until we see these guys do the right thing and deploy small cells.

Another challenge with small cell and DAS deployments is unless AT&T delivers world-class services , users wont pay for that. Optimization of MAcro,Small and DAS network is a huge challenge,system thresholds needs to be tightended in order to avoid frequent handovers between Macro,femto,Pico and Wi-FI AP.

Man, AT&T is going to have a lot to deploy and get right in 2013. Bolstered LTE macro, a raft of small cells and now DAS deployments. Think they can launch LTE-Advanced and VoLTE in 2H13 and keep it all together?
