Yeah, leaving out the disclaimer was a big Oops! for Nokia on this one. 

The Verge put the Lumia 920 Pureview to the test following last week's controversy, and the results actually look pretty good:

I gotta admit, I assume all images shown in commercials are filmed rather than taken off of the camera or phone. It just seems like it would be easier that way, in terms of the logistics of putting the commercial together.

So, yeah, "Simulated image" or some such disclaimer should have been in the ad. But I can't say I'm particularly upset by this. (Amused, sure.)
