How can Nokia play catch-up when their “partner” is always behind the curve?  When development stated for WP8, did Microsoft look at what was available today and say that will be good for the future?  Doesn’t Microsoft have a long history of doing similar things?

It must be true then.

Windows Phone certainly has some fans, although not that many, admitedly. I think there is  lack of awarenessabout it and quite a bit of indifference. Maybe it needs more and better marketing?

I'm half a fan. It's pretty good. The UI is very fast. I like how the live tiles work.

I liked the first Nokia Windows phones. Not perfect but okay. Hopefully they can pull something out that is competitive with Windows 8.

The Android I have now (Galaxy S3) is uninspiring. Then again, it's only a phone, and it works, so....
