The ConnectX-4 Lx based adapters are the first dedicated single and multi-host solutions for OCP, enabling significant performance upgrades for 10/25 and 40/50 Gb/s Ethernet networks, that does not require overhauling existing data center cabling infrastructure.

With ConnectX-4 and ConnectX-4 Lx adapters, Mellanox is the only company to provide network adapters for multiple OCP server and storage Platforms including Yosemite, Leopard, and Rackspace Barreleye, an Open-Power based platform. Powered by Mellanox Multi-HostTM technology, ConnectX-4 Lx provides an innovative solution delivering flexibility and major cost savings for next generation Cloud, Web2.0 and Telco Data centers. Multi-Host technology disaggregates the network and enables building new scale-out heterogeneous compute and storage racks with direct connectivity from multiple hosts to a single network controller. Multi-Host technology is available today in the company's line of ConnectX-4 and ConnectX-4 Lx adapters at speeds of 50 and 100 Gb/s.
