The Canadian telecom market generated $45.3bn in service revenue in 2011, an increase of 6.5% from 2010. The most important area of growth over the forecast period will be mobile data. The 700MHz spectrum auction in early 2013 will spur investment in, and deployment of, LTE networks,fueling the already strong growth in mobile broadband and will help to make mobile data the most important source of service revenue by 2015.
