Sorrento Networks Expands Into Romania

March 20, 2013 |
DENVER, Colo. -- Sorrento Networks recently entered a distribution partnership with Tornado Technology SRL, a Romanian company.

Recent demand of WDM solutions in every segment of their business caused Tornado Technology and Sorrento to come together to promote the Sorrento product family throughout Romania. Sorrento's GigaMux 3200 provides a cost-effective WDM solution to Tornado's customers and prospects and provides Tornado with an excellent network solution to augment their portfolio.

"Sorrento Networks brings a full suite of WDM solutions to Tornado's industry-leading product portfolio," said Eugene Lepadatu, general manager at Tornado Technology. "The growing need for optical-based bandwidth in areas such as wireless backhaul and data center connectivity will require WDM products that Sorrento offers. We look forward to benefitting from the relationship with Sorrento Networks."
