Kevin G. Conlan, VP Media and Entertainment Sales, East Coast, Move Networks
Mr. Conlan is an experienced digital media professional whose focus is assisting multinational media and entertainment companies to transition their business models from traditional broadcast methodologies to the new digital distribution paradigm. He specializes in the developing area of media and technology convergence and is adept at addressing the many issues facing media and entertainment companies today. Before joining Move Networks, Mr. Conlan was a Vice President of Sales, East Coast, for Extend Media. Prior to that, he held executive sales positions at Network Appliance, EMC/Documentum, Emotion, and Novell. He attended St Thomas Aquinas College in New York.
Mike Hudack, Co-Founder, President & CEO, blip.tv
Mike is responsible for blip.tv's overall business strategy, focusing on community relations, syndication, distribution, and advertising partnerships. Prior to blip.tv, he worked as a developer and administrator for the National Hockey League, where he managed one of the biggest IT projects in the history of the League, consolidating and redeveloping the NHL's internal applications. He also developed the content management system for NHL.com. Mike has spoken at dozens of conferences and has served as a guest lecturer at NYU and elsewhere as an expert on video, blogging, and citizen journalism. He has created and maintained more than a half dozen independent media projects, including warstories:CC, warblogs:CC, and the Index of Evil.

Eric Bader, Partner, Brand In Hand
Brand In Hand is a mobile media and marketing company that serves global brand marketers and emerging media companies. Eric was recently named Mediaweek's Digital Media All-Star for 2007 and was named to The Mediaweek 50. He was formerly Managing Director of MediaVest Digital. Under his leadership, MediaVest was named Digital Media Agency of the Year by Advertising Age in 2006. Previously, Bader was SVP of CSTV.com, helping to build CSTV Networks’ online, e-commerce, and subscription businesses into a Top 10 sports Website and delivered CSTV.com’s 2005 NCAA March Madness On Demand, one of the largest Internet sports streaming events in history. Before CSTV, Eric spent seven years as Senior Partner at Ogilvy Interactive.
Scott Bender, VP Advertising Sales, IGN Entertainment Consumer Group, Fox Interactive Media
IGN properties include GameSpy, Rotten Tomatoes, and AskMen. Previous to IGN, Bender led the online sales efforts for Fox Entertainment digital properties Fox.com, AmericanIdol.com, and Fox primetime shows through "Fox on Demand" on MySpace.com and the Fox Owned and Operated local station sites. He has been with Fox Interactive since July 2005. An 18-year veteran of sales with 13 in interactive, Bender joined Fox from Turner Broadcasting where he most recently headed national sales for CNN Interactive including CNN.com, CNN Video on Demand, CNN Wireless, and CNN Broadband. He was previously a CNN Television account executive out of Turner's New York and Detroit Sales offices.
David Burkhardt, VP of Technology Operations, Veoh Networks
David started working for Veoh Networks as their VP of Technology Operations just in time to prepare them for the massive growth they have experienced over the last year. He has worked in sys admin and technology management roles for 18 years, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to successful start-ups in the Bay Area and San Diego. If that wasn't enough to keep David busy, he also found time to become a published technology author, serve on several advisory boards, and speak at conferences such as last year's Web 2.0 Summit.
Dan Henderson, Vice President of Marketing, FastSoft
Dan defines and drives demand within FastSoft's key markets and refines the Company's business strategy. With 15 years of previous business and IT experience, Dan co-founded two start-ups, including i-Vantage, Inc., a global outsourcing firm with offices worldwide. He has helped a number of start-up and early stage companies revamp operations to maximize profits and refine their go-to-market and business strategies. Dan spent over five years as an IT consultant in the network technology realm. At strategy consulting firm Mainspring, Inc., Dan designed and analyzed network architecture for venture-backed companies in healthcare and technology. Within Deloitte & Touche's e-Business, Technology, and Security consulting practice, Dan helped to perform attack and penetration studies and design network architecture for large financial institutions. Dan has an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a B.A. from Oberlin College.
Travis Howe, Vice President, Digital Ad Sales, Sony Pictures
Based in Sony's New York office, Howe manages the Digital Ad Sales division, supporting Sony divisions that include Sony Pictures Television, Sony Pictures, Sony BMG, and Mobile. With a range of leading entertainment properties and content, he oversees the domestic and targeted international digital ad sales efforts. He joined Sony in 2005 and was appointed to his current post in 2006. Previously, Howe served as a change management consultant for Accenture, where he focused on operational strategy for the company. Prior to his tenure at Accenture, he worked as a strategy consultant for Inforte, where he focused on customer tactics in the U.S. and London.
Eric Klinker, Chief Technology Officer, BitTorrent
Bringing close to two decades worth of networking experience as a technologist and innovator, Eric joins BitTorrent from his previous post as CTO and Vice President of Engineering at Internap, a leading provider of network optimization and content delivery solutions. Previously, he was CTO and Chief Architect for netVmg, a pioneering provider of intelligent route control and bandwidth management products. Eric has also spent time at Excite@Home where he focused on the product development of cable and IP network management systems and seven years in applied research for the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C. His primary research interests focused on IP multicast routing, distributed computing, and information security.
Eliot Listman, VP Business Development, PeerApp
At PeerApp, Eliot is responsible for business development and the content distribution business. Earlier in his career, at InterVU and Akamai Technologies, he managed the development of various content distribution businesses along with related product development, sales, and marketing. These included syndication, digital rights management, and ad insertion. Eliot also served as CEO and Executive VP of Corporate Development for Aspeed Software. He started his career practicing law with Hawkins Delafield & Wood and then Greenberg Traurig, where he was a founding member of the New York office and pioneered the growth of the media, new media, and technology practices.
Patrick Mahoney, Senior VP Digital Media, Entertainment Studios
Mr. Mahoney is responsible for business development and strategic direction over all online and mobile initiatives for the company. Prior to joining ES, he founded Connected Strategic Partners, which advised digital media distribution and production clients. Previously, he managed business development at ABC Television's Digital Media Group, where he was involved with initiatives surrounding digital licensing and distribution. Patrick worked as a digital media analyst for Yankee Group, where his expertise was often recognized in prominent news sources including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and CNBC. He began his professional career as a consultant with Adventis, where he advised broadband and media clients on their digital content distribution strategies.
Dwight Merriman, Chairman & Co-Founder, Panther Express
Panther Express is a high-performance/high-value content delivery network provider. Prior to founding Panther Express, where he also serves as Chief Architect, Dwight was Cofounder of DoubleClick and served as its CTO for approximately 10 years. He is also Chairman and Cofounder of Shop Wiki. He was the architect of the DoubleClick ad serving infrastructure known as DART, which serves billions of ads per day on many of the largest sites on the Internet. Previously, Dwight served as a software developer in the R&D group at DCA/Attachmate in Atlanta. He received his BS with honors in Systems Analysis from Miami University of Ohio.
Paul Parker-Johnson, Marketing Director, Content & Application Service Providers, Juniper Networks
Paul Parker-Johnson directs strategy, solutions, and global marketing initiatives for content and application service providers. He formerly served as a key member of Juniper's Service Provider Strategy and Planning team, focused on new market analysis and business development. This work provided the foundation for Juniper's Ethernet switching and routing business for service providers, as well as the expansion of platforms in broadband wireless IP, VOIP, security, and policy management services. Prior to joining Juniper Networks, Mr. Parker-Johnson held product management and marketing positions for Ellacoya Networks, Lucent Technologies, and Cisco Systems. He began his career in system engineering, network analysis, and professional services with IBM.
Christa Rimonneau, Vice President, Dailymotion
Christa Rimonneau joined Dailymotion in 2007. As Vice President, she is responsible for monetization of the site and its content, establishing and maintaining relationships with ad networks and partners, and spearheading the company’s continued revenue growth. Prior to joining Dailymotion, Ms. Rimonneau held various sales and marketing positions with CNN divisions including CNN.com and CNN TV, most recently as a Senior Account Executive. In this role, she was responsible for developing and integrating advertising solutions across CNN’s complete portfolio of digital and traditional media properties for major clients including Accenture, American Express, and Marriott, as well as for international clients breaking into the U.S. market. Ms. Rimonneau has a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and International business. She is involved with several professional organizations including the Penn State Professional Women’s Network of New York, Advertising Women of New York, and 212, the interactive advertising club.
Ian Schafer, CEO & Founder, Deep Focus
Under Ian's guidance, Deep Focus, OMMA Magazine's 2007 Media Planning & Buying Agency of the Year and winner of a 2007 Cannes Promo Lion, has consistently crafted innovative, creative campaigns and promotions that raise the bar for the entire interactive industry worldwide. Deep Focus was most recently the recipient of a 2007 IAC award and two 2007 Webby Awards. Most recently tapped as an AdAge 2007 Media Maven, Ian is considered by many as the foremost expert in interactive marketing and social media solutions and has been featured in a number of outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Advertising Age, and Adweek.
James Segil, Co-Founder & President, EdgeCast Networks
Prior to co-founding EdgeCast, James was VP of Business Development for Talisma Corp., an enterprise software vendor focusing on CRM software. He joined Talisma upon acquisition of KnowledgeBase, where he was President and COO. Prior to KnowledgeBase, James successfully led Web-hosting company Virtualis Systems through startup, growth, acquisition, and a merger/integration. He was then COO of the Web hosting division of Allegiance Telecom, the communications concern that acquired Virtualis in Fall 2000. While at Allegiance, James managed the integration of Virtualis as well as other ISP acquisitions into one centralized hosting network eventually re-branded as Hosting.com.
Brian Wieser, SVP, Director of Industry Analysis, Magna Global, Interpublic
Brian's expert knowledge on traditional, new, and emerging media has been cited in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Broadcasting & Cable, AdAge, and MediaWeek. Media Magazine included him among the industry's "100 people to know" in 2004 and 2005. His forecasts of emerging video technologies are relied upon by many Wall Street analysts. Brian joined Interpublic in 2003 from Deutsche Bank Securities, where he was a member of Institutional Investor's No. 2 ranked Cable and Satellite sector equity research team. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Brian worked for Lehman Brothers in its Communications and Media Group, providing a range of investment banking advisory services. Brian is a CFA charterholder.
Julian Zilberbrand, VP Group Director, Technology & Ad Operations, MediaVest Worldwide
MediaVest was named Adweek's Media Agency of the Year and is a well respected voice for the adoption and popularity of rich media and broadband video advertising. Before joining MediaVest, Julian held Product Specialist and Client Service Specialist roles at rich media technology provider, Eyeblaster, as well as developing the company's Eyeblaster University training program. Julian was also a Project Manager and Technical Analyst for Doubleclick, balancing product engineering and operational roles while providing support for clients on rich media, third-party ad serving and campaign reporting.
