Lights! Cameraphones! Action!

NEW ORLEANS -- CTIA Wireless 2003 -- This sounds like fun. Sort of. A company called BigDigit is hosting what it calls "The World's Smallest Film Festival" in New Orleans to showcase video content made specifically to show on mobile phones.

The films are anything up to seven minutes long and can be found right here. Of the ones Unstrung looked at, we particularly liked "Happy Birthday" in the Experimental section. We tried a few of those in the Comedy section, but… well, to each their own.

Philippe Kahn, the CEO of one of the sponsors of the event, LightSurf Technologies Inc., was one of the judges. Does this mean that any particularly crappy entries will incur The Wrath Of Kahn?
