ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Kymata Ltd., a technology leader providing next-generation integrated optical devices, today announced that Mr. Mike Hickey, formerly COO and interim CEO, has been appointed as CEO. The company has also added Mr. Spencer Punter of Bowman Capital, Mr. Kevin Lyon of 3i Group, and Mr. Bill Cockburn of British Telecommunications (BT) as non-executive directors to the Board. All new appointments are effective immediately. Mr. Hickey, the new CEO, joined Kymata last year as Chief Operating Officer after serving as Vice President and Director of Motorola's multi-billion dollar cellular operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
