Has opened its first development and production center in Wilmington, Mass.; automates fiber optic components manufacturing

WILMINGTON, Mass. -– kSARIA Corp., an automation pioneer in fiber-optic component assembly, has opened its first development and production center at 200 Research Drive in Wilmington Technology Park. The automation equipment start-up, which was launched last July with $15 million in venture capital funding, will occupy 32,000 square feet initially and an additional 22,000 square feet in June.

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- OFC2001 -- kSARIA Corp. will preview the industry’s first standardized automation system for fiber optic components assembly here this week at the Optical Fiber Conference (OFC) in booth 2682.kSARIA’s fiber prep system is the first in a family of automation systems which are expected to help the industry meet the exploding demand for next-generation optical networks by automating slow and costly, labor-intensive processes. kSARIA’s innovative equipment will be in full production later this year.
