Genband, Black Box Partner on UC

March 26, 2012 |

ORLANDO, Fla. -- GENBAND , a leading developer of IP infrastructure and application solutions, today announced that it has signed Black Box Network Services, a leading communications system integrator, to the GENBAND Partner Advantage Program. Black Box joins the program as a Platinum Member, which is the highest level a company can attain. Leveraging GENBAND¹s nearly 250 million carrier-proven IP communications lines deployed globally, this partnership opens a pathway for businesses to transition large-scale enterprise networks to Unified Communications (UC) applications while maximizing existing infrastructure, including seamless integration with legacy PBX systems and support of analog, digital, UNISTIM and SIP-based phones.

"We are excited to support GENBAND¹s expansion into the large enterprise market which meets an immediate market demand for a logical evolution of enterprise communications networks to UC," said Michael Laughlin, Vice President of Shared Services for Black Box. "GENBAND fills a marketplace void with its comprehensive UC applications infrastructure while simultaneously offering unprecedented interoperability with existing systems and delivering a device-agnostic platform that can significantly reduce OPEX and CAPEX expenses for customers without sacrificing feature rich functionality."
