ATLANTA -- Cox Communications announced today that its Cox TV Connect app will now have access to 56 new national cable channels. Additionally, customers can access the app on the iPhone and iPod touch. The application creates a 'second screen' experience for customers to watch live television programming in their home on their iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch device.
"Cox is continuing to expand television viewing options for our customers, particularly with 'off-TV' experience," said Steve Necessary, vice president of video product development and management. "The new enhancements to TV Connect give customers the choice and flexibility to watch their favorite programming anywhere in their home, without a TV."
