Internap Founder: VitalStream Buy 'Disappointing'

The founder and former chief executive of Internap Network Services Corp. (Nasdaq: INAP) called the company's purchase of VitalStream "disappointing." But one current Internap executive says he's "got an axe to grind."

After Internap COO Vincent Molinaro resigned, former CEO Tony Naughtin weighed in on some of the problems Internap has faced since it made the content delivery network (CDN) acquisition.

It's worth noting that Naughtin is now the chief executive of GridNetworks Inc. , another player in the highly competitive CDN market -- so adjust your bias-meters accordingly.
