11:05 AM -- Another great moment in public relations...

After being briefed on a certain equipment vendor's new product initiative, I called the PR rep with a follow-up question related to a statement made by one of the folks I had been talking with.

I received the following voicemail from said PR rep after I left Friday evening:

"I'm sorry, but I can't find anyone that can speak about that with a modicum of intelligence."

Jeez. Was I setting the bar too high?
