LONDON -- Leading network infrastructure provider CityFibre has expanded its leadership team over a year of sustained growth post IPO. To ensure its delivery capabilities servicing the growing number of partnerships and major Gigabit City build projects, as well as to accommodate significant further expansion in 2015, CityFibre has added considerable senior sector expertise.

The additional leadership team members include former COO of EU Networks John Franklin (Head of Engineering), former ISB Commercial Director John Pulley (Sales Director), ex Head of Technical Strategy at TalkTalk Neil Styles (Head of Systems & Development) and Geo Networks veteran Mike Dixon (Head of Delivery). CityFibre has also appointed former BT Scotland Management board member James McClafferty as Head of Regional Development, Scotland.

The CityFibre business made significant headway in 2014 announcing major Gigabit City projects in Peterborough, Coventry and Aberdeen as well as the rollout of a state-of-the-art fibre network able to serve local government and businesses in Kirklees, West Yorkshire. In April, the company announced an innovative joint venture with Sky and TalkTalk, to build a gigabit speed fibre to the home network in York. The first residents will be connected later this year.
