eircom Introduces eFibre

DUBLIN -- eircom today announced its superfast fibre broadband network, with An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny T.D. on hand for the launch. In addition to constructing and operating what will be the country’s largest fibre network, eircom is launching a complete suite of eFibre products and bundles for consumers and businesses.

Starting at €40 for consumers and €24.79 for businesses, eircom’s eFibre products offer significant value. More than 300,000 consumers and businesses in Ireland can order eFibre from eircom today. eFibre offers download speeds of up to 70Mb as well as Ireland’s fastest upload speeds of up to 20Mb. There is also an unlimited download allowance for all eFibre products above the entry level.

All qualifying eircom broadband customers will be able to upgrade for free to eFibre. This includes a free modem, free installation and no connection charge. eFibre also offers the only fibre, voice and mobile triple play bundle on the market today in Ireland.
