The next important step in Tiscali's European rollout will involve the deployment of Juniper Networks M40(TM) routers across its Germany wide IP backbone. The M40 routers will be installed in Points-of-Presence (POPs) throughout six major cities in Germany. The POPs will be connected through OC-48/STM-16 circuits.

"The choice of Juniper Networks as a Tiscali Partner is a result of the desire to develop a fast, reliable and safe backbone network for our customers. In addition the deployment of Juniper Networks core routers gives us the opportunity to implement MPLS technology in our network," said chief technology officer Paolo Susnik, Tiscali International.
