Eurologic Systems, a leading worldwide provider of network storage solutions for storage area networking (SAN), OEM solutions, and vertical market applications, today announced that it is partnering with Emulex, Finisar, and Seagate Technology to demonstrate a 2Gb/s fibre channel SAN solution at CeBIT 2000 in Germany from February 24 to March 1. Eurologic is the first network storage system manufacturer to demonstrate 2Gb/s fibre channel functionality.

The demonstration, to be held concurrently at Emulex, Finisar, and Seagate booths in the Fibre Channel Industry Association (FCIA) room, will feature Eurologic's fibre channel-enabled network storage system in conjunction with Emulex's LightPulse(TM) fibre channel host adapter, Finisar's 2.5Gb/s GBIC transceivers and GTX 2Gb/s fibre channel protocol analyzer, and Seagate's 2Gb/s fibre channel-enabled disc drives, all operating at 2Gb/s data rate.
