STOCKHOLM -- Today, TeliaSonera International Carrier launches a new feature for international voice services, CLI Assurance, which will make it easier for mobile operators to verify the quality of service delivered for international calls.

Through this new feature mobile operators will benefit from the availability of full statistics of end-to-end CLI delivery and also guaranteed thresholds for CLI delivery to all Mobile Networks included in the CLI Assurance coverage.

CLI, Caller Line Identification, or A-number presentation is used to see where the call originates from and to get access to voice-mail and other mobile services when a person uses his mobile phone abroad. The CLI Assurance feature is designed to verify the end-to-end delivery of the CLI information and is launched to meet the requirements from leading mobile operators and the GSM Association.

“CLI Assurance will provide better Quality of Service to our wholesale and retail customers and consequently increase their revenues through higher service availability and higher answer frequency”, said René Timmermans, VP and Head of Product & Business Management.

“The CLI Assurance feature as launched by TSIC is the most comprehensive solution on the market, with 105 Mobile Networks in 35 Countries implemented from day 1 and an aggressive road map aiming to include 500 Mobile Networks before the end of 2007.” René Timmermans continued. “This new feature to our international voice service will position TeliaSonera International Carrier as market leader for end-to-end CLI delivery verification”.
