Larry Dennison: He's Baaaaack!

NEW YORK -- Ethernet Expo -- Only days after his sudden exit from software firm Soapstone Networks Inc. (Nasdaq: SOAP), Larry Dennison has reappeared in carrier Ethernet circles here at Ethernet Expo with a new startup -- LightWolf Technologies. (See Soapstone Shocker: Founder Flees.)

Having been the driving force behind the transformation of core router vendor Avici Systems into Soapstone, Dennison suddenly parted ways with the carrier Ethernet management software player on Oct. 6. (See Avici Abandons Routing, Targets PBT.)

But now he's back, and has agreed to meet with Light Reading today to (hopefully) spill the beans on his recent exit and discuss LightWolf.

Stay tuned, pop-pickers!
