HOUSTON -- Infomedia Network announced today that the company would give Broadband ISPs their first look at RondeView(TM) at the Cable Connects Show in San Antonio, February 24-27, 2004.

The world leader in SIP Convergence Applications, Infomedia Network has chosen this forum to introduce RondeView(TM) to Broadband Service Providers interested in rolling out VoIP and Instant Messaging to their business and residential customers.

Unlike proprietary IM systems such as AOL Messenger or Yahoo, RondeView(TM) is based on SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) the new standard for real time communications over the Internet.

Infomedia Network has been focused on SIP long before it became an industry standard. Spending the time early on to develop their own protocol stack, the company now offers a suite of SIP compliant products and services.

SIP communications is gaining momentum as evidenced by recent announcements made by the major carriers to deploy VoIP services. To accelerate deployments, Infomedia has implemented a Tier 1 SIP Network Infrastructure for the secure delivery of SIP based services for Instant Messaging and VoIP that Broadband ISPs can tap into.

Infomedia’s SIP Network does not terminate on the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) thereby completely eliminating all long-distance tolls for RondeView(TM) users. The added benefit of VoIP with no long-distance, combined with SIP based Instant Messaging is especially attractive to companies who have employees, contractors, vendors and customers located around the globe with whom they can now afford to communicate on a daily basis in real time.
