With this agreement, BT will provide and manage an integrated portfolio of data, LAN, security, conferencing, remote access, and Internet services to support the information technology (IT) requirements for the PepsiCo International division of PepsiCo.

Under the terms of the contract, BT will manage PepsiCo International’s local and wide area network infrastructure across more than 900 locations in more than 60 countries. In addition, BT will migrate these services to a state-of-the-art, high-speed, IP-based global MPLS infrastructure.

It is further evidence of BT’s ability to satisfy the networked IT services needs of global corporations across all continents. We look forward to working with PepsiCo to deliver and manage services that will help achieve their business ambitions and enhance their competitiveness, now and in the future, within the food and beverage industry. We are also delighted that PepsiCo has chosen our strategic partner HP for their global IT services. This will give us the opportunity to add further value to PepsiCo by showcasing our joint investments in our services architecture. ”
