AT&T Outage in NY?

Whoops, it sounds as if AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) is having a little bit of local trouble on the wireless front. Apparently, the No. 1 U.S. cellular carrier is experiencing an outage in the greater NYC area, which could last eight to 10 hours -- according to our IT department.

PM Update: An AT&T spokesman called back to say that this "wasn't a big deal" and "only affected small pockets of people." He says the issue has now been resolved.

His perfectly crafted blogs, falling under the "Jonestown" banner, have been compared to the works of Chekhov. But only by Dan.
