CHICAGO -- 4G World 2012 -- The tradeshow floor opens tomorrow, but the keynote sessions and lively hallway chatter has the cavernous confines of McCormick Place abuzz.

What follows are some visual selections from the show's sessions so far. Click on the photo below to launch the slideshow and use the buttons above each photo to navigate:

I don't know what the raw numbers were but the sessions were full and the expo traffic seemed a little light. I think that's to be expected, though, given the full stop on flights from NYC, BOS, etc.

I wasn't able to make the show this year but would love to hear from those who did about how busy the show floor was or not.  Tks.

A CSP's digital transformation involves so much more than technology. Crucial – and often most challenging – is the cultural transformation that goes along with it. As Sigma's Chief Technology Officer, Catherine Michel has extensive experience with technology as she leads the company's entire product portfolio and strategy. But she's also no stranger to merging technology and culture, having taken a company — Tribold — from inception to acquisition (by Sigma in 2013), and she continues to advise service providers on how to drive their own transformations. This impressive female leader and vocal advocate for other women in the industry will join Women in Comms for a live radio show to discuss all things digital transformation, including the cultural transformation that goes along with it.
