STOCKHOLM, Sweden & SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Regulatory News: Enea (STO:ENEA), a world leading provider of network software and services, today announced that 4DK Technologies has selected the Enea Accelerator Platform™ to help accelerate the time to market for its SuperConnectivity™ platform. The Enea Accelerator Platform provides a comprehensive “application ready” platform solution for companies looking to jump start product development. 4DK Technologies has signed a 5-year license agreement beginning in 2007, which also includes Enea Professional Services, for an integrated solution offering to help leverage the full benefits of the Enea Accelerator platform.

“4DK will redefine the user experience for wireless users by exploiting the full potential of the next-generation, all-IP technologies,” said Tamara Casey, CEO at 4DK. “SuperConnectivity is our unique service creation environment with the highest level of service integration and interoperability. Enea’s software gives us carrier grade reliability, streamlines the integration with the ATCA system and provides us with a platform on which we can innovate. We expect the Enea platform to shorten our critical development time by at least six months.”

At the heart of the Enea Accelerator Platform is Enea Element™ – a suite of high-availability, standards-based middleware services that provide a foundation for building robust, high-performance applications and integrate the hardware and system software components into a cohesive communications platform. The Accelerator Platform also includes Enea Polyhedra™ a high-performance embedded relational database management system, Tail-f Systems’ ConfD network management solution and a carrier grade Linux distribution. Bundled with a services team drawn from Enea’s 350 professional consulting engineers, Enea Accelerator is a complete system platform on which companies, from start ups to Tier 1’s, will build the services that will change how the world communicates.

“In order to make an impact today, early stage companies must deliver highly differentiated and reliable systems while under very demanding time-to-revenue constraints,” said Johan Wall, CEO at Enea. “We are very pleased that 4DK Technologies selected the Enea Accelerator to avoid having to ‘reinvent the platform software wheel’ and meet its market window.”
