EPIX Adds Playstation Apps

NEW YORK -- EPIX, the premium entertainment network, today announced plans to launch the EPIX app on the PlayStation®3 (PS3™) system during the first quarter of 2013, with an app for the PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) system to follow in the spring. A leader in multiplatform availability, EPIX will provide authenticated subscribers with access to more than 3,000 titles, including a high definition lineup of new releases like Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol, The Hunger Games, Thor and more. The lineup also includes EPIX original programming, featuring marquee concert, comedy, and sporting events.

The EPIX app will be available to PlayStation®Network members in the United States as a free download from PlayStation®Store.
