Embrane SDN Attracts Long View

June 05, 2013 |
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Embrane, the leader in software-defined network services, today announced Long View as the latest customer to deploy Embrane heleos® for its agile data center and its OnDemand Infrastructure, cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offering. Long View, an IT solutions and services company headquartered in Calgary, Canada with offices across North America, will implement the Embrane solution to offer new, differentiated services to its enterprise customers.

Long View selected Embrane for its unmatched ability to deliver dedicated network services for each enterprise customer or tenant in less than 90 seconds. With Embrane heleos, each software-defined network service is provisioned, configured and managed from a single interface – dramatically reducing OPEX – something that legacy hardware/software providers could not match.

“Long View is extremely excited by the potential that an innovative solution like Embrane brings to the market. As both a solutions integrator and service provider, the Embrane platform provides Long View with a tremendously powerful foundation upon which to build enterprise-class solutions for our customers. We look forward to bringing these solutions to the market,” said Craig Cook, director of Cloud Services at Long View.
