Stealth Launches VOIP Application ExchangeJune 15, 2005 | Post a comment
no ratings NEW YORK -- Stealth Communications, Inc., owners and operators of the Voice Peering Fabric (VPF), today announced the launch of the VPF ASP Market, an open marketplace designed to promote and allow ease of access to telco databases and gateway services which includes 411, 8XX, CNAM, LNP and SS7. For the first time carriers and enterprises are able to access and manage multiple services through a single VPF Ethernet connection without the need of provisioning dedicated, disparate and costly TDM connections. The VPF ASP Market provides a framework for VPF members to discover and utilize the latest services from the VPF ASP Partners. “By simplifying the connection process, access to services within the VPF are more cost -effective than the traditional methods,” said Shrihari Pandit, Founder & CEO of Stealth Communications. “With the success of the VPF Markets Market and the VPF ENUM Registry, the VPF ASP Market further strengthens business relationships and opportunities among our members and partners.” The Voice Peering Fabric is a distributed Ethernet network that functions as an exchange or meet-point for VoIP traffic. It is a private voice Internet allowing members to establish peer-to-peer connections in a secure, quality-of-service environment. The VPF Minutes Market and ASP Market allows members to buy and sell services with complete transparency among one another. In addition, the VPF ENUM Registry, the world's first commercially accessible ENUM database, allows VoIP calls to remain within the IP domain on the VPF. Initial partners of the VPF ASP Market include: SNET Diversified Group, Syniverse Technologies and VeriSign, Inc.
